The First Western Stale Building Taiwan This building was designed by British architect and built By Chinese craftsmen in 1865, while the structural Materials were shipped from Amoy. The style of this Building belongs to late Renaissance era, with geometric characteristics and regular beauty, provided a technical and stylish basis for the forward western buildings in Taiwan. A series of semicircular arches perform special proportion and rhythm in this building.
